Whenever we take on a room makeover the first thing I do is decide on the color.

Paint is the magic rabbit of DIY and can make all the difference in a space.

Usually I draw inspiration from a piece of art or pull out a color from a rug I plan on using.

Our current room makeover is a bit different though…

We will be renovating the Upper Room at our church. The plan for this space is to create a living room type setting for small groups. 

The room has not been updated in many, many, many years and we will basically be starting with a blank slate.
