Don’t get me wrong I big puffy heart love summer but I also live in Alabama so I do welcome weather that doesn’t have me melting…
I also love decorating for basically nothing whenever I can!
Seasonal decor can be super expensive & it only gets to be seen for that season, so it doesn’t make sense to spend a fortune.
But these DIY fall home decor projects can be made for super cheap without looking cheap!
I have a whole bunch of free or almost free fall home decor projects on this tablescape!
Plus the easiest air fryer donut recipe you will ever find, because nothing smells more like fall than warm cinnamon donuts.
Using seasonal fruit (or donuts) is a great way to create a centerpiece on a budget!
Make a fall wreath out of stems or unused flowers from nonseasonal decor.
You could also forage your backyard and collect leaves or even pine cones for a simple wreath.

Making candles is so simple and it has become one of my favorite DIY fall decor items!
You can even melt down wax from old or half used candles and use them in a mold or glass jar.
I use homemade fall candles all throughout the house and whenever we dine outside on cool fall evenings.
The glow from these pumpkin candles is magical and romantic.
This huge fall sign was made with scrap moulding and plywood!
It was so simple to make and the background colors remind me of an October sky.
Plus they normally cost more than $60 so why not DIY your own version!
You can use scrap fabric to dress up a fall table easily and it will clear up some room in your fabric bin!
The best part is you don’t even need to know how to sew to make these fall cloth napkins.
Buffalo check is a great pattern for fall and I also love using deep burgundy, oranges, and red fabrics.
This pumpkin cake stand was made with Dollar Tree pumpkins I already had and painted.
Next, I added a round wooden top to create this sweet DIY fall cake stand!

By now you can probably tell I am a big fan of fall candles and also the Dollar Store.
These dollar tree pumpkin candle holders were super simple to make and can be made to fit multiple size candle sticks.
The best part is that they are also made out of Dollar Store supplies I’m sure you already have on hand.
If the large fall sign was a little too much for you, I made this smaller fall sign completely out of scrap wood.
Some other ideas would be to add a fall recipe to a sign for some simple fall kitchen decor.
These smaller fall signs also make great hostess and teacher gifts.
Napkin rings are silly expensive but can take a table-scape to the next level.
These pumpkin napkin rings are made completely out of Dollar Tree Supplies and they are a guest favorite.
If you were wanting a more spooky napkin ring holder you could swap the pumpkin for a small rubber bat or cauldron.
Set Up a Cozy Outdoor Dining Spot
Can you believe we made 10 of these tables for our wedding last fall?!
